Well, I don't think there is a best way to deal w/ it. I think u just have to realize something came to an end, but there is a new beginning awaiting.





As 4 your children, that really depends on their age. if they r very young, they r not going to understand, only that dad isn't there living, but they still can see u and u and mom have to be kind, considerate and understanding in front of those kids.





The key is what you said FOLLOW THROUGH, ALWAYS, EVEN WHEN IT COMES TO DISCIPLINING YOUR KIDS. That is one of the biggest mistakes people make not following through.








As for U, U really should get out there and explore. Do things u haven't been able to do in a while, go see some buddies, join a bowling league those start right around this time of year, and it is a great way of meeting new people, spend Quality time w/kids/family.


Start a new hobby. U have to do something for yourself too.





So, now you know how to deal w/breakup, key follow through whatever you say you r going to do. and now find who u r now that u r single again.





OH and always remember it is better to look ahead and prepare, than to look back and regret.

is baggage to you. look at this as a chance to start over to have

you aren't happy and they will want you to be happy.

As you are stated that you are doing fine, you need to take care of your kids. Never speak bad about their dad, say that he still loves them as he did before. And that you always can visit their dad if they want to.
I agree with Book Chick - be honest with your children and they will understand! After all it is your life and you have a right to be happy!
