I'm kind of in the same boat as you. It's okay to cry, give yourself some time. If you can, cut off ALL contact with him. Distance yourself, don't talk to him, don't give in. Facebook, your phone, IM, etc. delete him from everything or else you'll be tempted to check up on him and it'll only make you feel more miserable than you already are. These things take time, so try to stay positive! Go out as much as you can, surround yourself with friends and have fun.

Give it time. That's all you can do. See a therapist if your depression lasts more than 6 weeks.
